Does anyone have any ideals for an inexperienced painter such as myself for how to paint that white and gold for the Solar Watch custodes? What is the best base prime [I'm assuming grey?]

Corax White Primer. Just don't prime when it's too cold and make sure you keep the can in a warm, dry place.

It's a nice off-white that will give you a great base for the white and gold both.

Thanks! I think I can get hold of that easily. So, I Have 5 custodian guard already primed in retributor gold, could I just prime the corax white over them? I never feel comfortable stripping the models.

Yeah id say corax white and then be incredibly careful painting the gold.

I do have some shakyness to my hands. I bought one of those new model holders that GW makes and it does an awesome job! I will just have to keep my focus.

Probably could, but if you're concerned about stripping the models?

Pick up an Ultrasonic Cleaner that has a "Heated" function. Use that in conjunction with Simple Green and after three or four cycles(after having let the stuff sit in the Simple Green overnight beforehand) it should just slough off.
