I have been using a gunline list for a while, when Azrael got nerfed I replaced him and dreadnouts with a primaris captain and venerables, cus theyre cheaper and have a FnP. For the most part It works, but recently I had two games (first agains Blood Angels, and second against Death Guard) where they charged me in the first turn, and I instantly lost. So I was thinking about getting a "few" guards, to force the enemy to charge them and in my turn they can fall back and the rest of the army can shoot. I never used hordes like this before so I needed some opinions.
