I'm thinking about returning to the hobby after about 10 years away. This thread https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/7jaqx2/former_games_workshop_employees_what_are_your/ got me thinking about it, along with a friend who's been encouraging me to try 40K again. While I was primarily a WHFB player WAY back in the day (pre-2000), AoS is telling me 'we don't want you to play Fantasy anymore'. I've still got about 1/2 of a Tau army, and 1/3rd of a Traitor Guard army (IG flavored with Nurgle models, including some FW stuff I picked up in 2011 or so, and a Stormshadow I bought when it came out and have never assembled).

I spent this morning reading the rulebook and some Codex (are we still bickering about the plural of that?), and am pretty jazzed at the changes. EXCEPT: the silly renamings! I don't approve of them! (insert 'Old Ork Yells At Clouds' smiley)
