Subject: Any experience with the Flames of War paints?
As the title suggests, I've taken notice of these niche paints. Are they basically just re-branded Vallejo (such as Army Painter) or are they quite good?
If someone could explain the consistency and coverage compared to VMC as well, that would be fantastic.
Cheers!

The Flames of War paints are manufactured by the company which produces the Army Painter line of paints. Vallejo is a completely different line of paints from a different manufacturer and are not affiliated with Battlefront Miniatures or Army Painter.

Thanks for the info. Does that mean they separate as much as AP does?

I bought a couple of paint sets for the Flames of War paint range and was largely disappointed. Poor coverage, even with traditionally more opaque colours.
Would not buy again. Just get the Vallejo ones, never had an issue with Vallejo.

I like the current line of FOW spray paint for base coating my vehicles. The FOW bottled paint I have tried has all been substandard and so I've stuck with the Vallejo paint I've been using for years.

All paint separates over time. It's what emulsions do.
These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
