Scarab with a Cracked Shell

Hello I am about to get back into the 40K hobby and I think this time I am going to play salamanders. I plan on actually painting and basing my models this time around lol.
I have a question about the shoulder pad size of regular marines vs the primaris marines, are the shoulder pads the same for tactical marines and say hellblasters?
I am wanting to buy FW shoulderpads for all of my infantry however I do not want them to look wierd on the primaris marines.

Shoulderpads are identical in size so FW pads will fit on Primaris.
However Aggressor and Reiver have slight variations to the standard shoulderpads (Aggressors have a flared 'guard' for use with Firestorm Gauntlets and Reivers use only one pad and said pad is notched)

Thanks for the info.
