Hi guys,

I've seen lots of conversions that use what's obviously some kind of jewelry piece that looks like chain-links, maybe from bracelets/necklaces, etc.

For anyone with experience using these, i'm curious about 2 things:
1. what's the name for these, so i can actually find what i'm looking for?
2. what's the correct size to buy for the appropriate proportions/scale to the miniatures? i'm assuming it's the smallest... but what is that?

Thanks!

Just go to a Michaels/hobby lobby / craft store and look in the jewelry section.

I'm not sure what size the chains on the below are, exactly, but there should be plenty to pick from.

So, sorry, I'm not certain what size to recommend, exactly, but it's going to be very situational on your projekt.

I've attached a pic of the last time I used them. A worker in the GW store I was at said she wanted some earrings made out of the heads!

But yeah, I just used a simple chain, drilled holes through heads, ran them in a line, glued them in place, and they dangle and sway delightfully as I move the model around.

Thanks! I love mah waaaaagh! banner.

That was the smallest chains I could remember seeing, but they would work nicely for vehicles. There might be smaller still for infantry use, but you'd have to look.

But generally, there's going to be plenty to choose from!

I found some on Amazon searching for "jewelry chain", bought something like 10 meters of the smallest chain for <$10 delivered. I'm planning to use it for my ork chain gang
