Got a dead Night Lord and a couple of Night Lord body parts scattered at the feet of the FW Rogal Dorn kit on the diorama base:

Spoiler:

Never painted Night Lords before. Looks like a teal kind of blue range. Being very careful as to not make them look like Ultramarines. I have a wide range of Vallejo (Model/Game Air), Army Painter and Citadel. Any suggestions?

When I did my army I used (Warning:very old color names used!!) Storm Blue as a base and Dead Flesh mixed in as a highlight.

GW didn't mean to hit your wallet and I know they love you, baby. I'm sure they won't do it again so it's ok to purchase and make up.

For easy lightning bolt armor, I did the whole thing in a dark blue, then put relatively thick lines of a very light blue for the bolts. Washed the whole thing in drakhof nightshade, then did light blue again in a thinner line over the bolts.

Kantor Blue is the primary armour colour of the Night Lords by Citadel; you can shade it with Nuln Oil or Drakenhof Nightshade, and make the lightning patterns with Lothern Blue and White Scar/Ulthuan Grey.

These videos go into it in more detail:

Spoiler:

If you don't have Kantor Blue, I'm sure the other paint ranges you have will offer something that is similar enough

Vallejo Game Colour Night Blue for a basecoat add a bit of something like VGC Imperial or magic blue depending on your taste for highlights.
