I love the Stormlord model and was thinking of a good list around it. Definitely appreciate any feedback on this list. Thanks in advance!

- All 9 lascannon teams stay in the Stormlord and shoot from inside. Since it's Cadia Stormlord stays mostly stationary.
- The infantry squads are meat shields that could ride along if I need to get Stornlord into a better position on turn 1.
- The Scions deepstrike and go for a target of opportunity.
- The Commissar stays in the Stormlord and puts the Psyker down if he pops.

Doctrine: Cadian

Super Heavy Aux. Detachment:
- Stormlord w/ Pintle Mounted Heavy Stubber - 456 Points

Battalion Detachment:
- HQ: Lord Commissar - 55 Points
- HQ: Primaris Psyker - 46 Points

Hmm. I know that many players, myself included, would frown upon someone using a Stormlord in 1,000 points. But if you're really playing to win (e.g. in a tournament), that's pretty solid.


Is the psyker inside the Stormlord?

If so, does the Stormlord's firing deck explicitly allows psykers to use their powers? (Sorry, away from books at the moment.)

If not, can the commissar still shoot the psyker from inside the Stormlord? I know the firing deck allows shooting, but I think the commissar's thing operates under a different mechanic even though it's described as the commissar shooting the psyker.
