So, after creating an account with the intentions of painting more models than I buy this year; currently failing; I'm finally getting round to posting some pics of what I've completed so far.

Most of my work has gone into my Sylvaneth, finishing off 8 Dryads so I can round out 2 units of 16 for now

only to realise I only saved one picture that shows 3, rather than 8. Obviously, the others are lurking amongst the rough...

Had a blast painting the Spite Revenants, but I'm wondering if the scheme is a little pale.

Think I may add some strings of blood to those claws once I complete another unit and the pissed off tree/witch with an insect fetish. Orange would probably make for an interesting contrast...

And finally, a test model for a more ethereal look

I'm not overly keen on the Tree Revenant models (prefer my spiteful shrubs) so I'll probably use Wildwood Rangers/Eternal Guard painted up as ghosts to represent them instead.

Still to come, a colourful Treelord.

All round enthusiast of modelling and painting, herbal tea, anime and monster girl fan fiction.

I think we all fail at your goal... I certainly am.

Your painting looks great. The spiterevenant is awesome. In terms of being too pale - I think it's fine. Maybe something to mark the border between skin and wood. But honestly I like how it looks at the moment.

Keep painting!
