Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

I'm splitting Forgebane with a mate of mine so that I can pick up the Admech side of it for a small Dark Mechanicus army. I'll eventually start playing it either as count as Admech or as Dark Mech if FW ever gets round to answering my prayers.

Which brings me to the Armiger. I see a lot of potential for either a Decimator or Blood Slaughterer count as but first some parts of the model need to be adressed:
1. The weapons are way too stubby for my taste, especially the tiny chainsword which just looks terrible.
2. The chicken legs. Normally I'm ok with chicken legs but these ones... They have to go.

My ideas on this front:
1. Luckily FW sells the upgrade arms for a lot of their Walkers seperately so it shouldn't be too hard to pick up some lovely looking, properly proportioned weapons for an Armiger conversion.
2. My idea is to get hold of some big mechanical claws to use as spider like legs, like the Blood Slaughterer has.

These are just my initial thoughts, I decided to throw a thread on here to see if anyone has any better ideas that hadn't crossed my mind for the weapons, the legs or any other part of the model that could be changed for a tasty Chaos conversion.

Thanks.

Definitely bits-bash it for a suitable Leviathan/Decimator style stand-in.

There are tons of dreadnought suitable weapons out there, some 3D printed, some resin, etc. Or stick to good ole' GW parts.
