I'm currently working on a DA Venerable Dreadnought, and was thinking about painting a "stained glass" style motif in the windows on the shin armour.

Here is my rough draft of what i was thinking, on the left leg would be the DA angel, and on the right would be the DW "icarus" banner.

I'll have to scale it down more to fit the windows, just concerned that it might look too cluttered with all the detail. Was looking around thew forums and couldn't find any example of other people doing this. So i was just wondering if anyone had attempted this before and could maybe give some advice on if it worked out, and if so how they went about painting it?
