Hello !

I just bought some adeptus custodes to play with my Imperium armies, and I need your help concerning the choice of color. My plan for the armor is :

- black primer
- I will use an airbrush for the main color : relictor gold or balthasar gold
- a thin coat of Agrax earthshade
- then drybrush with golden griffon

My hesitation is about the layer : should I use Relictor or Balthasar gold ? I have no idea about which one will be better to have a good with Agrax earthshade / Golden griffon dry.

Many thanks for your opinion / pics !

Balthasar, and Relictor gold are two very different colors. The Balthasar gold is a much darker color, that I would say, despite the name, is closer to a copper or bronze. Relictor on the other hand is a much brighter color to start off with, and may work out better if that's what you're going for.

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!
