I've been playing with lists around 2000pts to try and make a semi-competitive Khorne Daemons/World Eaters army and I can't make a list that I'm 100% sold on. The closest I came to was:

*20 Bloodletters with Icon and Instrument
*20 Bloodletters with Icon and Instrument

I liked it but I do prefer to use Berzerkers and I think of my self more World Eaters over Daemons. That being said, anyone have decent list ideas or semi-tough lists that are Khorne themed they use? Some units I use a bunch or just like are:
Kharn
Skarbrand (mostly because +1A)
Skulltaker
Bloodletters
Berzerkers with Chain sword and axe
Terminators with combi-plasma and Terminator Lord
Possessed (I'd like to get more mileage out of mine as I think they are pretty beast ran under World Eaters)
Havocs
Rapier Batteries
Hellbrute (have had mixed reactions but overall I do like it)
Bloodcrusher (Haven't tried them yet in 8th but I'd give them a shot if they could fit well)

I'm open to any ideas (though I'd rather stray away from cultists if possible as I don't think they fit very well in a World Eaters setting myself, but would use them as a last resort). I would like both World Eaters and Daemons synergize as much as possible (would pretty much be a daemonkin list at that point which is fine), but I'm curious what other people have ran in a semi-competitive setting with their Khorne goodies.

Deepstrike bloodletter blob
Skarbrand to buff and prevent fallbacks (potentially deepstrike him too)
Character sniper Daemon prince
Heldrake to tie up something turn 1
double oblits to try and take out something juicy or react to opponents deepstrike

I'd say that this looks about as strong as a World Easter/Khorne Daemonkin list is going to get while using these codices. The only thing I see as negotiable here is the Heldrake, which always struggles to do much for me. It does serve a useful function in tying things up, but for 185 points I'd like it if it had some ability to kill stuff. But it's hard to know what to replace it with. I'd say a Maulerfiend, but you've already got enough punching power. I mean, the cheesy move would be just to get 3 more Obliterators, or another Daemon Prince for flyer hunting.

Thanks. Going back to the original post I like the screening and psychic denial abilities that the flesh hounds + karanak brings, however i would probably bring just one or the other - i'd say screen is probably more important.

The termies are a big point sink, i have oblits over them in my list but tbf they can potentially do something in both phases due to be WE. Still, would a couple of bezerker buses be more effective?

Never really considered rapiers, but could potentially be good to hold the back field which we wouldnt really have otherwise for a true WE army (Skull cannons/predators?) I havent mathed out the Laser destroyer before, insane damage but increases the 'hit or miss' problem thats inherent with D6 damage guns. Unsure if 4x lascannon havocs, or oblits (again) would be better?

I do like that list. Might tweak it slightly. I do like rapier batteries because for their firepower they are dirt cheap multi wound lascannons at worst, and at best they'll crack open most vehicles in one turn of shooting. Granted the damage swing is horrible, 1 to a potential of 18 so it's not great to bank on but I like them.
