Hi! Thought I'd share my terrain with you guys!

I've made some progress over the last couple years when I'm bored with painting minis or don't know what to paint (now I'm waiting for the FAQ to know what to do with my flyrants).

I made a Flickr ablum with all my terrain

All my terrain is on 3mm mdf i got free from my local hardware store. They're big sheets thats used to protect lengths of wood under transport.

First up in the album is my scratch built terrain.

3 canned food cans, and a toothpick dispenser, Also added a GW ladder sand some other small bits.

Pipes, literally just tubes i found. I had to trim them a bit to make them seem thinner, but they were super easy to make. put them on a 3mm mdf base and painted them black. Would have gone for a metallic color in hindsight.

Exploded vehicle craters made from spacle and aluminium cupcake things. Bits are an old rusted metal sheet i found outside and wheels from a broken code lock.

Next up is a shed i made from a Champignon Mushroom box from my local store, put a GW bit on it.

My XPS foam hills have seen some use, you can see the blue foam one a few of them. its 3cm sheets of XPS i beleive, glued together with hot glue, saw it to shape with a rough saw, i used a bayonet sawblade. Then i added PVA glue and sand on the surfaces and in the mountain cracks.

The dead trees are magnetized, just brances i painted white and magnetized.
