Hello everyone!
I created this blog to share my work and their stories with you. Most times it'll refer to my Tyranid, Genestealer Cult and Blood Angels armies, but I've got loads of miniatures in my showcases, which I'd like to show off. I hope the photos will look good. My equipment consists of my smartphone camera and a LED desk lamp and my skills in image editing are non-existent

Let's begin with Tyranids today.

These Hormagaunts were my first Tyranid models from ~2012. At the moment there are just 10 Gaunts in total with more to come in the next weeks (or so i hope). Back then I decided against one of the greater Hive Fleets and worked out this colour scheme on my own. According to the latest Codex I accidentally built something like a tendril of Hive Fleet Gorgon and I'm totally fine with that.

The next thing I had in mind was a great beast. What's better for this than a winged Hive Tyrant?
I love the story it has to tell. I had hoped to increase the role of the Hive Tyrant as catalyst to the Hive Mind by adding the Ripper Swarm as minions writhing at its feet.
Still there are a few things I'd change looking at it nowadays. For example I don't like the colour of the Lash Whip anymore. My Tyranid Warrior's whips (which are WIP) look a lot fleshier.

The next Tyranid box I treated myself with was Deathstorm. I find it hard to make a proper picture of the Spawn of Cryptus though.

Originally these Genestealers belonged to the Deathstorm box. But you may notice that they don't plunge through a swamp. That's because I painted them for my Genestealer Cult and the cultists walk through a rocky industrial/mining site. There are pictures of them to come in the course of this blog I assure you

The Carnifex is the latest addition to my Hive Fleet. Also out of the Deathstorm box it's basically the Beast of Phodia in my own colours.

There's a lot more stuff WIP and unfortunately I can't concentrate to long on a single miniature or squad. Maybe sharing my work and getting it commented is going to change that. At least I hope so!
