Hey I know you cannot move up and down floors if you are a vehicle or monster, but is there anything restricting you from deploying or deep striking on the top or middle floor of a building classified as being a ruin?

Deep striking would be finishing a move there so is a clear no-no.

If you can’t agree with your opponent that you can’t deploy vehicles that couldn’t otherwise get there on top of ruins then you’re gonna have a bad game... just don’t try it, people.

you cannot deep strike a vehicle on top of a building, but you can DEPLOY them up there at the start of the game no problem.

This also means you can infiltrate them on top a building as well, since that is a deploy.

Yeah, right. Park a land raider on the second floor of a ruin How did it get up there ?? Read the FAQs. You can only setup vehicles on the ground floor of ruins.

Page 248 – Ruins
Change the first paragraph of rules text to read:
‘Unless they can Fly, Vehicles, Monsters, Cavalry
and Bikers can only be set up or end their move on the
ground floor of ruins.’

This was already changed in the rulebook update 1.1.

Ahh nice, I missed that as well. good to know.

Though it is still only in ruins they must be on the bottom floor.

If its a regular building or wall its fair game.

I'm not going to re-read the lunacy that is the last few pages of this thread, but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually said that. Even that one guy banging on about how relatively difficult it might be for an Inquisitor to acquire power armour, I don't think even that guy said that.
