Saw this suggested on another forum as a valid list option for an Undivided force with Rubric Terminators as a valid Elites choice for Undivided.

Logic goes that a Rubric marine (elite) gets to upgrade their armor to Terminator armor per the Thousand Sons entry, resulting in a Rubric Termi (still elite). Obviously a Rubric marine troop choice would change to elite if taken with a Thousand Sons commander so that type of model would change like the entry states.

I'm doubtful but leaning towards legal. Anyone else have input? I don't care about Chosen, just Rubrics.

Looks legal to me. The text says that the Rubric Marines "Count as Elites" meaning that the origin of the squad before the Termie upgrade is pretty irrelevant.

Or perhaps they become super secret-elite... I'd show you where that is on the Force Org. chart, but then I'd have to kill you.

Don't forget though... you do get 2-wound termies, but they are slow and purposeful, cannot take any ranged weapon upgrades, cannot upgrade their power weapons, and still strike at Initiative 1.

You were right up until your very last statement. According to the Slow and Purposeful Universal Special Rule in the Warhammer 40,000 4th edition rulebook models with Slow and Purposeful now strike in Initiative order.

Huh, you are absolutely right, Ghaz.  Thanks for pointing that out.  Now I may actually build that include-troops-from-all-4-gods undivided chaos army that I've been thinking about.
