Just a quick question regarding the AOS rule book and if a hard copy exists? I know some of the rules are online and I saw The Generals Handbook in my local shop and wasn't sure if that was the AOS equivalent of 40k's Chapter Approved, or just the actual rulebook. Sorry if this is wrong Index to post in! Thank you!

The core rules are the 4 page download. That's "officially" it for the rules, though the General's Handbook is widely viewed as the remaining bit of rules since it provides points and so on.

The big hardback they released at the launch of the game is really mostly fluff and Battleplans (scenarios), so it's really not required.
