So I keep hearing the best loud out for a deathwatch captain is with a jump pack. does the box come with one? if not whats the cheapest way to get one in anybody's opinion.

You could take a look at Kromlech or Spellcrow for a 3rd party one, though they do sell them in groups of 5. Depending on who your captains chapter is Spellcrow have some chapter specific styles (I.E Wolves, Salamanders, Templars).

Otherwise head to Ebay and try and pick one up there.

For once GW may actually be the most cost effective option here. They still sell a 5 sprue of the old stlye plastic jump packs for (quick search on the GW Canada site) $10.

They are like 20 years old now, though, so the mould lines will likely be horrendous.

Might as well just grab Vanguard vets. Get some nice veteran power armors in dynamic poses with weapon options.

I got an Assault marine box to use for some character kit bashing myself.
