Surprised there isn't already a thread for this:

I read through the rules PDF from the project page, really interested to play this game. Seems like it will play well solo or co-op (or semi-coop if you want to compete for captaincy!). I feel it strongly captures the theme with its 3 game phases:

"Voyage Phase": sailing towards a goal, while maintaining your ship (resource allocation), gathering supplies, keeping the crew happy, and fighting off enemies (including monsters)

"Adventure Phase": essentially a pirate dungeon crawl; your row boat hits the shore and you delve into the surroundings looking to complete your objective (with plenty of enemies popping up, too, of course!). Tiles are revealed as you go.

"Port Phase": after your adventure, the characters go around town visiting locations to buy things, learn new skills, and more.

The three combine to allow players to play an entire campaign. There are loads of stretch goals unlocked, adding to game play.

Looks interesting. Figs look pretty great, I really like the Inigo Montoya fig. Never heard of the company though, they've only done 1 other KS that appears to be currently delivering, some wierd cartoony sewer rat game. I probably won't back but hopefully my pirate loving friend will

This looks like a game that tries to do everything, and ends up doing nothing well. Maybe it really is 3 games in one, but right now it just looks like a headache.
I will say that the miniatures look like they were actually sculpted with physical production in mind, which is a welcome change for this level of Kickstarter.
