So I have this set of dice that is always rolling an absurd amount of ones. Like I will roll ten dice and get six ones. Or every single time I need to make a easy roll to save a unit or pass a psychic test. Ones. It’s ruining the game. So where do I buy loaded dice that always roll fives or sixes. To offset my bad luck with ones. Thanks

Try buy Casino dice, just don't use GW ones I think. Somebody have done a testing study concluded that for GW dices, with 29% of the rolls are , and over 50% something are 1s and 2s.....

Actually my field experience says that just don't play blood angels, dice somehow know that it's BA. If I run my death guard.. I make 80%+ of the disgistingly resilent rolls etc..

Casino dice are horrible for gaming because they are designed to be used on a craps table and must hit the back of the board.

This may sound silly but to genuinely test if they are wieghted/bad dice float them in liquid and see if they keep showing a certain face.

The other thing that can help with dice rolling is a dice box as it can allow you to throw dice properly with force so you get a bit less consistent results.

Don't buy rounded dice or dice with indented pips. You don't need to go too crazy on what dice you need, just follow the above 2 rules.

i have a GW dice cube with the skull for the 1s. they always throw 1s, so frustrating.
then i picked up a pack of dice from Flying Tiger and i've never seen so many 5s and 6s!!!

If you want truly fair dice, get high quality backgammon dice, NOT casino dice. Casino dice don't roll well enough on a normal play surface to be random. They are designed for craps tables, nothing else. The backgammon dice are small enough to actually use and as fair as they get. That said, they aren't cheap.

Seriously, just get a a set of chessex or gamescience or whatever and don't worry too much about their probability, they are all fine enough for our games if you grab them randomly. If you start to sort out the ones that tend to roll a little hotter or colder, then you are changing the odds. In "handfuls of dice" games like most GW games, the probabilities even themselves out. In games like Warmachine where you are only ever rolling a couple dice at a time, it might be worth it to grab some backgammon dice.
