I hope this question is in the right place. Anyway, I’ve been using the Imperial Fists chapter tactics for my Celestial Lions, but the truth is I don’t don’t think this tactic suits their fluff very well. And I’m starting to wonder if the Black Templars would be more suitable?

I could see them running like Black Templars after the events on Armageddon. They are really understrength and bringing their scouts with the regular marines makes sense.

That’s a fair point, but I exclusively use Primarus marines. Not a statement, just the only ones I’ve bought so far. I was thinking more of the reroll charging and that helmet that boosts aura abilities, like a lions roar.

That's a fantastic reasoning behind using the extended aura helm. A+

Glad you like it! It was the spark that inspired the whole thing!

one of my favorite tactics has been upgrading the captain to a chapter master, giving him the Relic Helm and giving him the Storm of Fire warlord trait. (I think its called storm of fire. better ap on weapons?)
I put the chapter master in a storm raven with a crusader squad, mix of shooty and choppy, usually with a plasma gun and include a dreadnaut as well. When the unit disembarks to shoot, everyone gets to reroll ones when shooting, they get extra ap on 6s and then you get to reroll the charge.
you can call the reroll to charge the Lions Charge.
