First I would like to say hello, as I'm new to 40k and this forum. While learning about the topic I found most of answers to my question over here but still there are some that need to be answered.
Question:
- Can I put unit that has same faction keyword, but is from different codex/index? For example: put Custodes into drop pod or razorback, as they share "Imperium" keyword

You need to look at which keyword the transport in question can transport (e.g., the Dark Angels Rhino says it may transport 10 DARK ANGELS INFANTRY models).

As Ghaz points out, Transports are restricted on what Keywords they can carry on a case by case basis.

Descrption on transporter says:
"This model can transport 10 <CHAPTER> INFANTRY"
And "<Chapter>" description:
"When you include such a unit in your
army, you must nominate which Chapter that unit is from"
which means not only faction keyword "Imperium" but "<Chapter>" must match.

Well, there you go. Custodes don't have <CHAPTER>

No. You cannot even put Ultramarines in an Imperial Fist Rhino (Dark Eldar being the exception to this, as they can use transports across Drukhari sub-factions, but still only Drukhari only, obviously).

Valkyries and Chimeras are another pair of exceptions. In short, check your datasheets!
