Hello everything. Been working on building a competitive chaos army list centered around the Alpha Legion. Generally how the list works is half the cultists escort the Daemon princes up the board while the other protects the shooty elements. Recommendations and critiques are more than welcome.

- updated the list to add in sorcerer and exalted champ with hydra sword. Had to drop warlord off one of the DP which means one less guy with a 3++ but 4+++ isnt so bad either. Sorcerer gives champ a 5+++ fnp which at least gives him a chance to survive combat. Any other suggestions? Are the obliterators and sound marines a "sound" gunline? Or are there better options.

The Blade of the Hydra is super strong imo and think you are missing out not having it on a lord,chaplain, ex champ.

Also this is possibly the most effective chaos gunline that doesn't draw from FW.

You have three big ass rainbow turkeys flying around with warp bolsters, hundred cultists, noise marines and obs.

Maybe for more dakka consider a slaneshi dread with the huge boom box. Or just a hellbrute kitted for melee pacing your back line in case of some DS fuckery. Either woud be a great bouncer.

Looks insanely good. However, I'd drop a chaos lord for an ex champ with blade of the hydra. Punchy and let's all your cultists rereoll wounds if hey ever hit combat.

I was very much lost on what to do with the hq. I might try and fit a sorcerer for prescience and drop one of the unnecessary chaos lords for champ with hydra sword as suggested. I could always keep one of the daemon prince back if I feared DS on my back line. The slaanesh boombox dread looks super cool though haha.
