Before the game starts I use the Deceiver's rule to move d3 units at least 12 inches away. To make sure I get 3 units, I use the re-roll stratagem as many times as necessary. [Can do this because you can only use a stratagem 1 time per phase, this is before the game starts so it's not a phase.] Once I've got the desired result, I take the deceiver, the Lychguard, Trazyn the Infinite, and Anrakyr the Traveler and put them in a clump up front, from there on my turn I move and advance the cryptek with cloak up the board to also meet up with the deathstar.

The idea of this is to have a unit of threatening assault up the board as fast as possible, whilst weathering any storm possible. The benefits of this blob are:
+1 Attacks from Anrakyr to all of the units. [Both overlords, the cryptek, the lychguard, trazyn and anrakyr himself.]
4 Applications of my will be done, which is +1 to hit, which basically means permanently my Cryptek and Lychguard are hitting on a +2
Tecnomancer gives me a +1 to reanimation protocols, meaning all of the lychguard are now standing up on a 4+.
Cloak on Cryptek also lets me heal any of the characters d3 wounds per turn instead of just 1.
Lychguard can get down sir on any of the other models in the blob, thus allowing me to allocate wounds into different places if need be.
Two orbs allows me to retake the additional rolls to stand back up if things get dicey.
When Trazryn dies he get's to take over one of the overlords, which i'll do once they've expended their orb.
Take control of a single vehicle weapon with Anrakyr.
Most of the unit is Novoch and Characters meaning they can heroically intervene giving them rerolls on hits in the fight phase. [2+ WS with rerolls.]
I can make the Lychguard fight again with the 3 cost stratagem.
C'tan gives me powers that I can use to dump mortal wounds.
All of the Novoch unit gets exploding 6's in the fight phase.

The only thing I wish I could do is cut the heavy destroyers out and put in 6 normal destroyers. The only way i see this being possible is cutting the 19 warriors down into another squad of 5 immortals.

NOTE: I don't think this is all that competitive, though it does seem like a lot of fun and it'll be my first introduction into a more elite army. I play nids and ork so getting to use minimal amount of models is A+. Feel free to critique, or try and help add to the deathstar!

Regardless of however many times you can use the strategem, a dice can only ever be re-rolled once.

Overall the list, while tough, seems very slow. Yes you have the Deceiver's redeployment shenanigans, but you have no transports, the fastest unit you have is the Destroyers which can be focussed on pretty quickly. Perhaps it may be worth trimming some points out somewhere so you can fit some faster harassment units or transports.

Even though you can use command re-roll stratagem without the one use limit outside of a phase you cannot re-roll a dice more than once.

3 heavy destroyers are meh. Use a DDA instead. If you want a serious threat use two 6 novokh wraiths units. They are very hard to kill with their 3+ invuln sv and hit hard with S6 AP-2 D2 A3. Its only two units, you chances of rolling a 3+ for the deceivers ability are 67%, plus command re-roll once. The wraiths will protect the deceiver, they are fast, and ignore terrain/models. And because they can fallback and charge again, you will get to re-roll failed hit rolls in the fight phase every turn.

As pointed out a dice can only ever be rerolled once.

Also, what is the deathstar you speak of? I don't see it. You may get one turn of alpha strike but that would not be a deathstar IMO.

Trazyn doens't buff anything, your better off taking a basic lord for reroll 1's. Anarykr can work.

Warriors are meh for troops choices. It seems like you could do a Silver tide list, but would propably need at least 60 warriors with Cryptek and Ghost Ark support at a minimum. Add overlord for MWBD, and MAYBE a rez orb, overcosted for what they do.. None of that matters though because your overlords are a different detachment and only going to be rez orb a single unit of 10 lychguard which is just going to be either A.) ignored and outpaced, or B) focused down turn 1 leaving your Overlords with no one to buff.

You have little Anti Tank. You dont have any DDA, or Regular Destroyers, and only 5 tesla immortals, These are arguably are 3 top units. Scarabs/ Wraiths/T Vault probably tied for 4th. (ignoring HQ selections).

I like Lychguard, but the speed is the issue. Even with the deceiver trick, you may end up with the opponent deploying out of range. Not to meniton if you deceiver them to get them within 12" they can't charge first turn. I like lychguard, but their issue is speed. Best bet for them is to hold them off and use Translocation crypt, Night Scythe or monolith to DS them in T2 and hope for a good charge.

Your also going to burn through those CP by turn 2.

If this is a friendly game it could be fun, but since you put Deathstar in your title that leads me to think you are going for competitive.

Lastly, what happens if you go second?
