Hello, I'm new to AOS and currently trying to decide on a 2000 point army to play with some friends. I'm completely new so just curious what some peoples opinions are or if I'm accidentally doing something I'm not allowed to do. I also don't know which skyport to use. What would you use with this?

I figured since I'm mostly aiming to purchase the start collecting box and the battleforce box that I wouldn't be able to transport my units up crazy fast and decided that when using high numbers to hit that more/improved numbers would be better than having bigger ships. I could get +1 to hit from ordinator and +1 to hit from the batallion choose a target to focus fire ability.
My strategy stops there as I have never played haha
