Ok so I've got a fair sized Necron army and I've tried to add conversions wherever I can come up with the ideas, just a few little things so far (I cut the tubes off immortal weapons as I didn't like them, kitbashed a scorpion out of a wraith and customised the crap out of my lychguard) I've ended up with a lot of spare weapons as is the curse of necron players and what I was thinking was converting some old home made flayed ones I'm not too happy with, stripping the greenstuff off and redoing the weapons to make them deathmarks (I know warriors are a tad smaller I'm going to bulk them up and ad greenstuff hoods and maybe cloaks) I was hen thinking of using the de-weaponed deathmark bodies to make some more lychguard to bulk the unit out, again i'm aware the bodies for DM are SLIGHTLY smaller then lychguard but I reckon I can bulk up the shoulders with Greenstuff cut some plasticard tabards and bobs your uncle.

I suppose what I'm asking is whether its worth bashing the DM bodies into Lychguard or just arming them with immortal weapons and turning the Warrior/Flayed ones into Deathmarks?

Also as anyone else tried anything like this and do they have pictures because I sure as hell couldn't find any....
