Hi,
It seems there are many former players returning to the hobby.
I became interested in 40k and warhammer about 25 years ago, buying the odd mini here and there. About 20ish years ago my hobbying really took off I amassed several armies in both 40k and warhammer.
Around the last year of 4th ed 40k the gaming collective I'd acquired had drifted apart and I fell out of the hobby. Several failed attempts to get back in during 5th ed and I decided to sell off my models.
I found the remnants of my marine army, "The Night Marauders", in my attic last month and thought I'll try once last return.
Hope it sticks this time.

Welcome back!

There seem to be quite a few people who have come back (including myself) to 8th Edition. Have you played any games yet, or is still an aspiration?

What armies take your fancy this time? Going to stick with the Space Marines. I have to say after buying the Dark Imperium box set, my old 2nd edition Marines look rather silly and small!

@tarkinlarson it's still an aspiration at the moment. My plan is to stick with marines for now, possibly adding some imperium allies (AM blobs anyone?).
The only question is, after stripping half the army in preparation for selling it, which chapter to paint them?

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
