We'll find out soon enough eh.

I'm considering how I want to go about painting my AT minis, and spraying the chassis with a silver metallic seems like a good basis for the rest of the paintjob, however I wasn't too impressed with GW's silver spray can which from what I've seen gives a pretty "rough" finish, ie the metallic flakes look obvious to my eye even after a model has been given a thorough coat. Are there any good alternatives out there? I'm aware Tamiya and Army Painter both do metallic rattlecans, but finding examples of the former has defeated my google-fu and I've had poor experiences with AP cans in the past(though, admittedly, not metallics which I haven't used). I'll happily entertain using non-modelling cans if they go on smooth and without obscuring detail.

I don't need a full-on chromed result that would require fancy rub&buff or Alclad paint, but I'd like a nice smooth and bright silver as my baseline.

No, I don't have nor do I want an airbrush, just to preempt the inevitable evangelist

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal
