Hi all, keen to get back into it. I started collecting and painting a couple of years back but things got busy before I could start gaming. Now there's new rules and units so I've signed up to learn whats good before I start buying units again. I bought the rules and index about a year ago but holy damn the codex just never came, got it now though.
Geez those new models look good.

Hi @Zahnib I switch from hobby to hobby constantly. Right now I've just finished spending big on my knife collection. It's time to give that a rest. I'm getting back into 40k because my nephew told me he's looking at Orks. I have heaps of DA minis sitting unbuilt so I went ahead and bought the 8th Ed codex.
Looking forward to it.
As for what minis I'm looking at. I have the Dark imperium box as well as a box of intercessors, a box of hellfire heavy support dudes and a box of interceptors (I think you call them that). I'm not sure what to equip them all with, they all look outstanding but I'm not sure what works best for the points.

Dark Imperium is a great starter set! And sounds like you've fleshed out the Primaris force quite well.
