So I am setting up my new Imperial Guard models and noticed some of the arms are missing hands. I was wondering if it was a defect but noticed some of the visual instructions show models with the hand missing on the arm. Is there something I am missing or is that how it is supposed to be?

There should be a hand on the corresponding Lasgun.

If you are talking about the regular cadian squad kit, most lasguns have the arms attatched to the gun itself.

Yes its a Cadian squad from the Start Collecting box. And I noticed the lasguns and weapons attached to arms. But I am seeing arms with no hands, just stubs . There seems to be multiple of these arms. I just find it odd that there is nothing on the internet that seems to explain this and my spues do not offer spare hands or anything. I see a lasgun by itself on a couple of sprues but that is it and it does no have the same amount of hands for each stubby arm.

The lasguns attached to an arm will also have a left hand somewhere on the underside of the lasgun. the handless arms connect to this at the wrist.

The Cadian arms are designed to be used in specific pairs. The arms without hands pair up with arms with lasguns with a hand sculpted onto the lasgun.
