Reaching out to the great Dakka collective.....

Got my girlfriend's son a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition

It was used from ebay and didn't come with the charger.

So, wondering if anyone knows:

Would the standard PS3 cable work for the cable part?

Second question is would a typical cel phone base charger work?

The way they describe it on the site is like this:
The TI Rechargeable Battery conveniently recharges using a USB cable, wall charger or TI-84 Plus C Charging Station.

Thanks for the input!

I have a TI-84 Plus but mine just works on standard batteries. I have never seen this fancy silver version, but after a quick look at pictures of the recharcher on Google it seems like it is the same sort of plug as on a PS3 cable. For phone charger I guess it depends on the plug. My phone chargers all have different ones.
As long as it is this kind of plug it should work:

Error 404: Interesting signature not found

Probably work

I think it's a USB A to mini-B cable.

Those are a somewhat more uncommon cable, but I've seen them used by older external hard drives and particularly cameras for data transfer. They're a lot like a usb micro cable (like most android phone chargers) but about twice as thick.

You should be able to pick one up from Walmart / Amazon / whereever for 5-10 bucks.
Ti themselves sell just the cable for 2 bucks: https://epsstore.ti.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?section=11535&item=107692&sitex=10023:22372:US

That is just the cable, not the wall wart, but I'd imagine any usb wall wart would work just fine.
