Red, black and grey with gold trim are the Stygies VIII colours. I can find lots of examples of where they are placed on infantry but few examples when it comes to vehicles, specifically dunecrawlers, kataphrons and (though this isn't admech proper) I would also like to paint some Leman Russ tanks with these colours. The problem I am having is that I don't want them to be large blocks of mephiston red, as that looks too much like the Mars forgeworld, but I also don't want them to look like I placed red and grey in random locations. I am used to painting vehicles with one main colour, not multiple colours, so does anyone want to offer any input as to how I could place the below pictured colours on a Leman Russ / dunecrawler and have it look decent?

Gathering the Informations.

The grey is actually supposed to be a deep charcoal-y black. That's the downside of those colorplates they don't always show the colors accurately.

That said the colors Stygies has are actually, in the fluff, specifically done to allow them to claim they're Martian affiliated in a pinch...so having them look Martian isn't exactly a bad thing!
