I’m painting my Van Saar gang according to the box set color scheme and have every guy was modeled with the mask on. I want to denote my hives a little different than my regular gangers. I want them painted differently. I was thinking of painting the mask a different color to denote a lesser rank. The box set denotes the color scheme helmets already a green blueish color, what color other than that green blue color could I paint my hives to denote a lesser rank than ganger? Any suggestions?

Or if you have a different suggestion to denote them I’m all ears.

You could make them WITHOUT helmet ? Like, they need to deserve it, to earn it ?

I do all mine the opposite. All my Champions and Leader have a bare head (everyone has the head mask on the side, however I think you only get 2 per kit on the side, so if don't have a few kits is hard). Cause you know the most experienced run around with their helmets off... To designate, look at a colour wheel if want matching or opposing colours for what you have done, and just paint one of their shoulder pads that or a stripe on their head or the rim round their base (for e.g. the line of sight rim etc that you need to paint or designate. You don't have to but makes it wayyyyy easier).

I second the no helmet for champs/leaders.
