For those who made their own homebrew space marine chapters (and didn’t freehand something), what tools did you use to make a chapter icon for their shoulder pads? I’m trying to make something for my new chapter (the Doom Stalkers) and am coming up blank. I have all the decal paper I need and the formatting, etc, I just need a good idea.

Religious, alchemy, war, gang, etc.
Then, merge a couple of them

Good call! Found a good base symbol in an Alchemy symbol site: Arsenic. It works thematically and it’s cool looking. Evocative of an hourglass without specifically being one. Fits nicely.

Going to add some type of symbol to the middle to finalize the icon.
