In a black legion or another chaos undivided army, can you mix dedicated vehicles?  Units with a mark that does not match the leader of the army's mark become elites.  What about the vehicles?

Can I have a Khornate pred and a nurgle dread?

Dedication is not a Mark of Chaos.

So you can field nurgle and khorne vehicles, as heavy support in the same army, provided its not a cult army?

Yes, you can mix dedicated vehicles, with a few restrictions:

- You can't have a vehicle dedicated to a power that opposes your leader's mark (per the Ancient Enemies rule; only applies to Black Legion)
- Night Lords cannot take dedicated vehicles
- Emperor's Children, World Eaters, Thousand Sons, and Death Guard can only take vehicles dedicated to their specific god

However, that does not mean that they may not take undedicated vehicles--they can. But if any vehicle is dedicated, but must be dedicated to the proper god. Just wanted to make sure everyone was clear on that.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias

So can Iron warriorsAlpha legion/word bearers take vehicles with marks? there is no restriction stating so in the codex ..... and the reference made in the night lords section made it seem rather cryptic ....

The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance -- it is the illusion of knowledge

Yes, Iron Warriors, Alpha Legion, and Word Bearers can all take vehicles dedicated to gods.
