Just enamored at how much music brings back recollection.
For example, when I was at uni I did a double major bachelor, grad dip and then a masters degree (1 after the other) a few years ago now. Everytime studied for exams or writing an essay would spam Iron Maiden on the head phones etc. Found if I think of a song it enabled me to recollate certain things. I now days listen to Iron maiden everytime lift weights (so every second day). However, it has been years since uni but I still remember a lot of my studies (that are not pertinent to my career) everytime hear it. While a lot of subjects that were not associated with me having to 'study', so no music/Iron maiden, I can't remember f**k all about.
Just was thinking of the association tonight and knowledge I have lost. Maybe just me.
Not that I know the names of the artists etc (Not really into names, I like a lot of music, but ask me names on members of bands, actors, people in general, IDC, they are good at craft, idc who they are but etc).
Anyone find the same?
Edit: Suppose its like when ride my bike and I hear Bon Jovi Wanted come on or Bal Sagoth, im ridin at 100khs and my speed keeps going up and I have to restrain...especially on long rides. Music affects life and perception for me or more to the point feeling.
Anyone else find the same, music can affect your mood, recollection, feeling etc?
