Against AM, i would take some dark talons, they have good amount of shots and with dark shroud they are -2 to hit.
And the stasis bomb is exccelent agains large squads of guardsmen
My current list consists of samael on sableclaw,talonsmaster, 3 darktalons, darkshroud, scouts and plasma inceptors.
Taking some bloodanegl captains or a librarian dreadnoght makes it even better.
I havent played against an AM player, but i think such combination of units will be great because flyers can remain at -2 to hit for at least 2 turns if darkshroud survives.
And landspeeder characters cant be shot at until flyers are dead, basically AM player will be hitting only on 6s
In my first turn i would use flyers and speeders to clear out all the screens, if any vehicle is in range of blood angel captain or librarian dreadnoght during first turn it will go down.
On second turn i would drop plasma inceptors and deal with the rest of vehicles, while dark talons and speeders deal with infantry
Heres a possible combo when taking BA captain:
Give him relic to for ignoring overwatch
make him death company - +1 attack and 6+ feel no pain
make him your warlord and take +1 to damage
Now if you got lucky to go firts you can spend 2cp to move him before battle begins thats 12+D6 move since you can also advance
So a BA captain can move up to 24+D6 on first turn and is likely to get in range with something valuable
Now, lets count attacks, thats 4 base +1 for being death company + d3 using stratgem thats 7 attacks on average.
Dont forget that you can fight for a second time or after dying thats 14 attacks 8 -3 4. it will be enough to kill most things.
Librarian dreadnought is also great,
On your first turn, move him up to 12 inches after successfully casting psychic power. then move again = 24 inch move
Cast another psychic power to gain +d3 attack
Use stratagem for additional d3 attacks
That will be 3+2d3 attacks with 10 -4 4 profile and then fight for a second time, those shadowswords will take direct damage and die turn one
