I see games workshop did their Christmas bundles again. I missed my favorite units tau and space wolves. I am not into the yellow of the Imperial first but thought they could make good salamanders or space wolves any thoughts on this set?

I see no problem. I considered getting it and adding them to my Blood Angel successors. AFAIK all the imperial fist-specific components are in upgrade sprues, so you can either get your own space wolves upgrade sprues or freehand the shoulder pads and stuff.

What about the regular Primaris set? I think it offers better value model wise, since you don’t pay for an upgrade sprue you wouldn’t be using.

I totally agree - i think that most value from this battleforce youll get if you wanna do Imperial Fist, Crimson Fist or some custom army with fist emblem. If you wanna do something else the interdiction force box could be more reasonable

Thanks I am still trying to figure this stuff out I got some armies off eBay trying to remove the crap paint jobs. I not an expert but I have been building models for over 20 years. I don't what paint they used its shiny and black. I have gone thru 3 cans of oven cleaner made only a small dent. Looking at brake fluid next. I have the marine and new space wolf codex coming from Amazon. Hopefully I figure out my pieces I got and what is needed thanks again.
