Looking at doing the below list in a January tournament, but now due to the points drop debating whether having a dark talon & nephalim with lascannon is worth it (was going to use them to attack any heavy stuff at the back with long ranges)



Plan was having the basic scout unit holding my objective at the back, using sniper scouts as screening/targetting characters and holding objectives in middle of board, then having the rest of ravenwing as a castle that can split as it moves up the board.Was aiming to zoom the blob of 10 ravenwing knights up with speed of the raven, then weapon of darkages, cast rightful on them have them charge and depending on situation fight twice and possible use the ravenwing formation option to then get out of dodge (this would use up all my cp if i did this using the formation stratagems including the +1 to hit)

The thing is due to points changes the Nephalim & Dark Talon cost the same as 10 Ravenwing black knights would i be better swapping for that, gives me 30 odd bikes on the board at the start

I'd be tempted to make a Ravenwing Attack Squadron from Vigilus, in which case, you will want your good stuff in there (Sammy, Talonmaster, Black Knights).

You may want to consider the ancient for the extra attacks if that is the game plan.
