Here is my overhauled list. I am going to run two Battalions, one of which will be a Liberator Strike Force (the Primaris Captain is in that Battalion). I will take the Field Commander Stratagem to give the Expert Instructor WL trait(9" reroll 1s to hit) to the Primaris Lieutenant. My Warlord will be the Primaris Captain with either the Storm of Fire or Iron Resolve Warlord Traits. The Lieutenant will be behind near the Hellblasters. The Apothecary might be with them or the Devastators. Anyway, here is the list. The Vindicare Assassin is for shooting at Characters. Battlescribe isn't completely right, I adjusted what I thought was wrong, let me know if you see anything out of place for points.

Would I be better off running a squad of Sniper Scouts with a Missile Launcher instead of the Assassin? Or maybe with a Heavy Bolter instead of the Missile Launcher? I don't know if the Assassin's Exitus Rifle is quite enough. The Missile Launcher would add a little punch to the Scouts, but being able to use Hellfire Shells would be nice too. I dunno, I want to be able to deal with Characters at a distance.

I think you should run missile launchers instead of lascannons.

Any particular reason other than the 20 pts saved? Missile Launchers are more versatile, but being able to deal with T8 is kind of important too.

Well rocket launchers also have the flakk missile strategem and verstaility to boot. There is like a 1 strength difference? Plus you won't always be facing massed vehicles, if you want anti tank lascannon rapiers are still miles much better.

That is certainly true. I could buy another Chaff Marine for the squad if I did that, but I would be left with 9 pts for basically nothing though.

I am reminded that I still need to assemble 10 more Intercessors for this list though.

I will try the list as is and see what works. I have the Missile Launcher Devastators to run in place of the Lascannons Devastators, so that is an easy switch. If the Terminators don't really get any work done, I will consider replacing them with something else. Honestly, I kinda want to use a Tri-Vindicator to see if I can blow some characters up.

I mean that squad is expensive enough for a hellblaster unit. But I would err on the side of caution with hellblasters. AS rockets have alot of verstality and range

9pts could go into somewhere I don't know where.

ACtually you could upgrade the powerfists into chainfists for your Tartars. (chainfists are now 11pts, 2pts more than powerfists)

and deal far more damage than powerfists.

My Hellblasters are going to be a big ball of Nope. Leave them alone, they shoot you. Shoot at them, they shoot you.

I don't know if I want to double down on Fists being the only way I deal with big things. I already have 15 Fist using models in the army. A far cry from 7e where I had a single Fist(Pedro) in my entire army!
