Now that CA has come. I've been trying to pinpoint my list for a local GT. The game plan is this: have the sorcerers use Precience, diabolic strength on the Kytan Ravager, I then fling it using Warptime right into enemy lines. I chose IW for cover denial with the havocs and Contemptor. I've chosen IW also for the Kytans legion, so that I can use the IW strategem for fnp if I get into a hard spot vs big guns. It's a bit of a glass cannon, but that's what makes it fun and extra Khorney.

Lots of shooting with no rerolls from a Lord. Havocs should be slaaneshi for double shooting. A third hellforged rapier provides the same shooting as the havocs for like 2/3 the cost.

Yeah, I'm sacrificing my IW lord for the second Sorcerer. As much as I love the rapiers, they don't benefit from legion traits.

Why not more autocannons then? 16 vs 12 potential damage, same ap, better STR. The force multiplier from the lord is gonna be better than diabolic strength and you save 24 points.

Diabolic strength translates to 18 strength 12 sweep attacks from the Kytan or 6 strength 22 smash attacks.

I went with that combination of havocs bwithats what I own that are ready to go. I'm getting another unit but not before the event.

Is that better than rerolling ones for 36 heavy bolter shots, eight autocannon shots, and eight butcher cannon shots as presently constructed? It's literally just 3 extra attacks in sweep since you're gonna be wounding on 2s anyway
