Anybody ever try those pre painted bases? They are flat but basically have painting Designs on them so just glue your model on and done for those who don't like basing

yes, its been around for a while, its textured basing. GW and many 3rd party companies make them with various designs and sizes.

I think GW basing kits are great for large bases. 3rd party I'd go with:

I think you’re confusing two things.
GW don’t make pre painted bases.

Ballzonya, I’ve seen a few that look ok, but the being flat thing is too Jarring for me visually.
I just don’t think they have that extra flair of a built up base.
But for ease (and I hate having to do loads of bases..) then they are perfect for sure..

Not much point in a pre painted base really.
Once the plastic or super glue touches it it'll either melt the paint or possibly frost it.
