Hey, I'm completely new to everything warhammer. I just bought two novels and will buy some miniatures next week. Question. Should I read Crusade and other short stories or Gaunts ghosts series first?
Thanks

Probably work

Illinois is a big state...

And you should read whatever makes you happy. If you want imperial guard novels that are on par with actual fluffy fiction and epic and bleak and depressing, try Dead Men Walking. It's basically IG versus Necrons, but it's really, really good.

If your a huge Gaunts Ghost fan, you always start With the TRILLOGY! the Founding Omnibus(balanced), Then take a break and read Ciaphas Cain, Finish with Eisenhorn it's the heaviest. Lore makes this game harder to not purchase models for. Warning though you will want to buy imperial guards after reading GG or Cain

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
