What's the maximum you would go for resin terrain around the size as Sector Imperials ruins with the two statues. Let's assume for this hypothetical situation it's something that you really want to buy and it's within your budget to do so. How high would you be willing to go? Or what do you think a fair price would be? Likewise what's the maximum price you would pay for a hero type character such as a terminator in resin.

Please specify between what you consider a fair price, and your absolute maximum price, both for the terrain and mini.

This is all very helpful and thank you all for supporting miniature gaming all these years.

Would and have paid $200 or so, maybe up to $300 if it's a really good piece. Though I'm going to be very picky about it, most terrain I've seen does not meet that standard. Look up the old FW city ruins as an example of the minimum quality required to get that price. They're nicely detailed and very solid blocks of resin.

Around the $50-75 range, maybe up to $100 for something amazing that perfectly fits the image I have for that unit. And again, you'd better be doing something to earn that price.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I don't think I could bring myself to pay more than $30 for a 35mm figure no matter how awesome it was.

How big is the Sector Imperialis?

I'd probably pay $100ish tops for a large building, maybe $100-200 for a well done 2'x2' scenery tile.

(about 2/3rd of GW price is a pretty good rule of thumb about my upper limits, but I'm playing mostly non-GW stuff that's under half the price so my value may be skewed).

How long a piece of string?

I'd pay a lot for a good resin miniature that I really like. I would pay significantly less for a bad one, or a good one that I don't like as much.

For terrain max $200. it would have to be pretty spectacular, modular, and or very useable. pretty or not if its not a very functional piece then its not good.

Hero model up to $50 unless its specific to something i like. then up to $100-200.
