What do you guys think?

I think the blue could be cleaner, especially the shading towards the edges of the shoulders. Otherwise, a decent job, Celestial Lions are a great color scheme on Primaris, and I always love seeing POP Goes the Monkey insignia, they're great.

Ah you noticed. Yeah PGTM insignias are great.

I guess the blue could be cleaner. I’ll bare that in mind. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice. I like these guys and weirdly, they do seem to look particularly good in Primaris.

It looks like you're painting several different blues in layers, which is harder to make look clean. What I'd do is paint your lighter blue first, get a good opaque coat, then wash over it thinly with Drakenhof Nightshade (don't slop it, no pooling), then do the crevices with Nuln Oil and paint any raised areas over with the original blue. Then if you make any mistakes you can just clean up with the Nightshade.

And paint the heads separately, of course. Since you're using Dark Imperium minis doing the shoulders separate isn't an option.

So are you saying he should be usnig the wash instead of using more blue colours to make it look cleaner? ( so in other words, just use 1 blue color and do the rest with the wash )

Yes. If you find getting clean lines difficult, it's a simple way to do shading and highlights - the shade darkens the original color, and you can use the original color as a highlight. If you make mistakes with the highlight, you can just neaten up with the wash again.

I do this a lot for bone colors - base, wash, repeat basecoat as highlight. It also works for metallics and I've been using it for subtle drybrushing without getting dusty effects on Blue and Pink Horrors. See my Flickr page (link below) for some examples.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions everyone. I should have finished the other two Interceptors tonight but instead I went out with friends and got drunk. My bad.

You're better off using brass tube or wire. Those'll break the first time you put them on the table. They're a farce.
