I assume you mean Twisted Helix?

I must confess, I'm not entirely sold on the concept of mass MSU Acolytes outside of transports. Their ability to take multiple armor cracking melee weapons is somewhat less efficient in 5-strong units since there aren't as many bodies to take hits for the comparatively expensive weapons. The other potential problem with that many 32mm models is finding room to pile into combat. They take up a lot of table space and it is harder to get everyone piled in so that they can swing.

That said, Twisted Helix should probably be able to make this work. It boosts speed so the fellows forced to footslog aren't entirely left behind and the extra strength should help insure wounds connect. Do you any particular models in mind for warlord traits and relics?

As an aside, Pauper Princes could probably run this list rather well too. Their Warlord trait is really good for a Patriarch, their Relic is good with an Aberrant deathmob, and the list has plenty of characters to trigger their unique stratagem from.

The Twisted Helix traits are all fairly straightforward. The Kelermorph actually very much likes the Twisted Helix warlord trait since it affects his guns while the unique relic is good for any of the bigger melee characters. The Abominant really likes having the Scourge of Distant Stars relic, as it removes the hit penalty for the hammer and punishes the foe with mortal wounds for natural 1's to hit which is very nice against the sorts of things an Abominant is kitted to deal with. Iconward obviously likes the Icon of the Cult Ascendant relic, though it might be unnecessary given that you already get +1 strength from the trait. Also if you ever decide to bring a Sanctus, he very much appreciates the bonus to his to-wound rolls provided by the Gift From Beyond sniper rifle as it allows him to inflict mortal wounds on a 4+ to wound which makes triggering his anti-psyker effect much more reliable.

I have a Patriarch, so I can't make anyone else my Warlord.
