..2019 continues to baffle

It is many years into the future. A wealthy and powerful person (or persons) has claimed a rare and much sought after prize: the “vault” of 200 unreleased (this is real!) songs from renowned Canadian pop artist,
Carly Rae Jepsen.
Hired by an anonymous sponsor, your team of highly trained individuals will raid a well-defended location to retrieve said item. From planning to set-up to execution, you will see this heist through to its completion, whether that be a success or failure. There will many twists and turns along the way, and don’t always trust the specialists by your side.
More information coming soon! Follow me on Twitter for updates.
Updates: 03/03/2019: V1.1: - Clarified LASER FEELINGS, added "Hindering" option, further clarified "Double and Triple Crossing"
05/03/2019: - Character sheet now live! "Legacy" update and sample session coming soon.

what a time to be alive eh ?

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

After FATAL nothing surprises me.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I mean... comparing this to FATAL seems a bit unfair? This just seems like a silly and fun fan project, not a nightmare from which not even hope can escape.

Plus Boy Problems is a fun pop song.

Oh no, I wasn't saying THIS was like FATAL. I was just saying once FATAL happened I knew then and there that anything could and would be made.

This is easily possible within a world where FATAL exists.

That's fair!

I admit i'm fond of strange one-off rpgs like this one, so i might be feeling more positively about it than some. I've got a collection of these things that i never actually get the chance to play.

There are some really creative and fun one-off RPGs out there, like Honey Heist (you're bears trying to plan and execute a heist from Honeycon) and Everyone is John (players are voices in John's head, trying to get him to do different goals).

My favorite is All Outta Bubblegum, where you only have one stat - Bubblegum - that goes from 0 to 8, and basically forces you to eventually describe everything you're doing as "kicking ass." For example, if you're low on Bubblegum, chances are you can't drive your car to work, but you have to kick its ass down the highway. It works best when you use shots to represent your Bubblegum stat.

The idea reminds me a little of Diana, Warrior Princess. Imagine you're roleplaying something like the '90s Hercules or Xena. Now, imagine you're in the year 3,000 looking back at the present day with the same degree of historical accuracy as those programmes.

I really like that bear one but they're both neat ideas. I might actually give the bubblegum one a try! Though probably just with actual gum

And then weep, because it exists, we are indeed in one of the darker timelines.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
