Has anyone converted the doomsday ark to a tesseract ark? It occurs to me the rear of a doomsday ark would make a good conversion base. Maybe cut down the DDC and put a different end on the read part of it to make the tessaract chamber. Get a couple gauss or tesla cannons.

A tesseract ark looks like it has the back end of the doomsday ark because it in fact has the back end of the doomsday ark. The forgeworld kit is just resin bits bundled with the plastic sprues. So you are quite correct, it would make an amazing conversion base.

Thank you! I was wondering about the similarity there.

I'm thinking of, as I said, cutting down the DDC just in front of the rear module to create the singularity chamber then putting that big lens like thing that goes on the top mounting hole of the rear section of the ghost ark to make the aperture it fires from. Then maybe having one set of the ribs facing up be the shield generators, with the high tech looking plugs at the rear of the ribs and maybe gauss or tesla cannons possibly borrowed from ABs or bought as separate bits mounted on the holes at the front of the ribs.
