Wicked Wych With a Whip

Set up. I set up first and was pretty sure I was going to give him first turn, so all my stuff hiding, and only visible from one side of the table.

This is turn 2, after his movement. T1 we traded some shots and I moved up the table. I was hoping to hid my army behind the colosseum but he had a trick to move those big black suits further than I thought he could. He managed to get an angle to fire.

I respond by charging straight into the fire. Unfortunately I over killed a few things. My plan is to shoot them, charge them and tie them up, but not kill everything so that during his shooting phase we are still in close combat, then finish them off during his CC phase, leaving me free to manuver, shoot, then charge another unit. I was never able to do that right in this game. So I ended up in range and in the open for his shooting.

Gang pile another pair of suits. The Grotesques are still alive, they are just hiding in a building so they can start the charge without facing over watch.

Last round. My talos finally make it there and kill 2 fire warriors. They were badly out manuvered this game. And had almost 0 effect up till this point. That said if we had time to keep playing they would be just about all I had left. I would expect the blue vechichels in the center to be shot of the board next round. I do have a knott of comanders behind a building which I would put against anything he has left, if they can catch them.

After 3 hours the game was called for time after 4 rounds. He gave me the win on points. A bit of my point lead was luck a bit was play style.

The next round was going to be very bad for me.

Good game.
